curl在从对等端接收数据时返回“失败”

我正在使用curl从URL检索数据。

如果通过HTTP请求调用php代码或在Firefox中输入URL，则一切正常。如果从PHP CLI脚本执行相同的代码，则curl_exec返回false。错误信息为"Failure when receiving data from peer"。

知道为什么curl不起作用吗?
